New Outlook Rolling Out to Microsoft 365 Business Users
Starting January 2025, Microsoft 365 Business users on the Current Channel will begin transitioning to the new Outlook app. If you’re a classic Outlook user, you’ll notice in-app notifications guiding you through the switch. Don’t worry—you can easily toggle back to the classic Outlook if needed, and there’s an option to disable the automatic transition until you’re ready to make the change.
Who’s Getting the New Outlook?
The new Outlook app is rolling out to PCs running Windows 10 (1809 and above) or Windows Server 2022. On most newer systems, the app is already preinstalled or available through Windows Update. You can find it by searching for Outlook (New) in your apps.
Additionally, the new Outlook will now come bundled with Office desktop apps on new installations over the next month, making it even easier to get started.
